Cookie Pickup & notes from our last meeting

Hi everyone....

COOKIES:
I still have too many cookies here that have yet to be picked up...
At this point, I ask that you contact me to make arrangments to pick them up as I had most of Saturday & Sunday available for pickup.

Reminder: money is due on 2/24. 1 check made to GS Troop 612.

Notes from last meeting:
The girls earned their 1st of 3 patches...as we instructed, they are not to place any other circle patch on their sashes as they have not earned them yet.

So- how are they earning their last 2 patches? I'm sure the girls explained it to you....their project from now until the end of the year-- a fashion show....So, how does the fashion show exactly work on earning their patches?

The middle patch they just earned is all about "me". The girls should be able to explain that to you.
the 2nd patch is earned when the complete their "team work" project. We have split the girls up into 3 teams.
Each team is in charge of coming up with their "company name", what their company represents and what they want to stand for. Because it's a teamwork project, they need to agree on everything & plan everything themselves. The girls were very excited and they have quickly learned that the sky's the limit when you work together...

The last patch is earned when the girls present their project to all of you...at our family picnic at the end of the year.... They will bring their creations out to the "community". They will share what they have learned with all of you....

SO-- why am I spoiling the surprise to all of you--- Simple...since this is a team effort, it's very important for the girls to attend the meetings. We will hopefully make it easier by changing the time of our meeting- we will push it to 6:30. Our meeting times will now be 6:30-8.
